Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
E10 Water supply fault Medium The drum remains empty and no sound of water flowing is audible after selecting and starting a wash program on the Electrolux control panel. View E11 Fill timeout Medium Water can be heard trickling into the drum, but the fill rate is noticeably slower than normal, and the cycle takes much longer than expected before eventually timing out. View E13 Water leak detected High The washer halts mid-cycle and displays E13 on the control panel. The drain pump may activate automatically as part of the flood protection response. View E20 Drain fault Medium The wash cycle completes or pauses, but water is visibly pooled inside the drum when the door is opened. Clothes are soaking wet and heavy. View E21 Slow drain timeout Medium The drain phase that normally takes one to two minutes stretches to five or more minutes before the machine eventually times out and displays E21. View E35 Water overfill High When the door is opened or through the glass door, the water level appears much higher than what is typical for the selected cycle, potentially reaching the door gasket area. View E40 Door lock fault Medium After pressing the Start button, the door lock does not engage and the control panel shows E40 within a few seconds. The washer will not begin filling or tumbling. View E41 Door not secured Medium You may hear the lock solenoid click or buzz briefly, but then E41 appears on the display because the internal microswitch did not detect full lock engagement. View E42 Lock mechanism failure High The error displays within seconds of pressing Start because the control board receives no response at all from the door lock assembly — there is no delay or lock attempt sound. View EF5 Spin imbalance Low The drum slows down significantly or stops completely during what should be the high-speed spin phase, and the control panel displays EF5. View
